How To Score With SEO By Using Quietly
SEO or Search Engine Optimization can be a touchy topic among bloggers and internet publishers alike. Pretty much everyone is arguing about what SEO practice is best, and we’re here to quietly throw our hat into the debate about our own product. In our opinion? Using Quietly optimizes SEO practices better for publishers like you.
For those of you unfamiliar or just blanking on the term, SEO stands for Search Engine Optimization, the process of affecting a site’s visibility in a search engine. What Google does is return a structured list over a paragraph any day of the week for search items.
What publishers can do is give search engines what they want. Organic search results (those that are unpaid) can rank high if the website produces good content that is archived well. When a publisher archives its content, it communicates to the search engine a publisher’s intentions to recommend its site for relevant searches. Archiving content in a more meaningful way will increase organic traffic and discoverability.
So how does this relate to Quietly, a publishing platform for lists? Well, using Quietly will automatically add HTML content as part of what you as a publisher is embedding alongside the iframe script and hide it dynamically. By adding the Quietly content into your page, we’re rendering all of the content within each item, each slideshow on the page as HTML.
Translation: your slideshows now have SEO in them. Other slideshows do not. Many slideshows are just images with no added text, html tags, but ours are different. Even our embedded list code is optimized for SEO, giving you an advantage over competitors. Often, we are above sites like Twitter and Pinterest and are on the first page. Don’t believe me?

Notice how Quietly is the first and/or second link?
SEO still matters in today’s publishing climate and it’s essential to use innovative SEO tactics to get your website to the top.
