Product Recap: February 2015
28 days later—sans a zombie apocalypse—we survived the wet (and sometimes harsh and miserable) winter of February. We also accomplished quite a bit, like collaborating with Social Media Week, to our map overlay view all the while working tirelessly on a new overhaul. Here’s what we did this February.
Social Media Week Partnership
We love to see cool companies using our tools in cool ways, and no one’s cooler than the coordinators of Social Media Week, a worldwide annual conference with stations from Jakarta to New York. Combining our media carousels and tech love, we teamed up with Social Media Week to create interactive tech event guides for social media week participants. Check this one out:

Mapping with Mobile in Mind
We couldn’t help ourselves in sharing our style innovation. People love map views and people love mobile—we gather many of our clients’ readers with mobile, too—so we wanted to integrate the experience as best as possible. Enter our map overlay feature, which adds a simple prompt to view the map in fullscreen mode so your readers won’t accidentally scroll through the interactive Google Maps. No one wants to get lost on a map! Check out this feature on one of our case studies for Vancouver Is Awesome, who makes use of map view.
Changes A’Coming
Tirelessly, we’ve been working to change the Quietly creation experience. We’ve learned a lot listening to user feedback—which is paramount in an industry like this—and we’re excited to be announcing big things next month. Too vague? Patience is a virtue. Until next time then.
