To close out the year, we were delighted to be deemed an “App You’ll Love” by DailyTekk. We also introduced a more traditional slideshow option to display your media and added Microsoft Bing to our image search functionality. Here are our highlights from this past month.

We’re big fans of quality, hand-picked curations. That is why we’re thrilled that the folks over at DailyTekk, a site that highlights the best apps, featured us on their site! Thanks to all who showed us some love on that channel, as well as on their own social channels while spreading the good word.
Meet our latest, most versatile display view: The Media Carousel
Our Map View and Slideshow display options now have some company: the Media Carousel. This display option allows you to show off various multimedia (photos, videos, GIFs, locations, you name it!) with a separate caption or description. Learn more about this new type of multimedia slideshow.

Search for high quality photos from Flickr and Bing without having to leave Quietly
We’ve recently added Microsoft’s Bing image service to integrate with ours. When creating your slideshow, you can choose to search for commercially licensed images from Flickr and now, you can choose from Bing image libraries, too. You can do this all without having to even leave Quietly.
Simply type in your search term, and toggle between Flickr and Bing. Confirm your selection and we’ll add it straight to your list!
